Welcome

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Truckers Association of Nova Scotia.

This Association is one of the best examples of what Truckers can do as a team devoted to delivering the highest standard of Service. Our primary purpose is to support Government in the building and upgrading of roads and highways throughout Nova Scotia.

Our Association is made up of six hundred members throughout this Province. Each County has their own Association with a County President, Executive, and dispatch system that enables them to allot work to their members in a fair manner. The Provincial Office in Truro acts in support of each County and acts as the voice for the Association. The Provincial level operates with a Board of Directors and an Executive tasked with setting Policy for the Association.

We are proud of our Professional Drivers who must pass a battery of Safety requirements before being eligible to work within the Government highway system. We welcome any interaction with other Associations or individuals as we are strive to obtain fair treatment and fair remuneration for the very difficult and demanding service we provide to our many clients.
